In practice, SQL is not sufficient for complex queries involving recursion and multiple relationships. A practical and still under development is the use of Graph Database, which is the storage of information without a rigid, semi-structured rich semantic content. However, having this structure means using a query language suitable for accessing data from the database graphs. Many mathematical and abstract concepts dizzying everywhere.
